Health Coaching

Someone in your corner between appointments.

For you, and for the people walking beside you.

What is health coaching?

Knowing what is good for your health is not always the same as knowing how to make it part of everyday life.

Health coaching is a collaborative, person-centred process that helps you turn health information, medical recommendations and personal intentions into practical, sustainable action. Together, we explore what matters most to you, identify the barriers that may be holding you back and create realistic goals that fit your health, circumstances and daily life.

Coaching provides a supportive space in which you can reflect, make informed choices, build confidence and remain accountable as you work towards meaningful change.

“For people facing cancer I bring the added focus of cancer coaching, and because families carry this too, coaching is there for them as well.”

How can health coaching help you?

  • Clarify your health priorities and know where to begin
  • Set realistic and achievable goals
  • Develop healthier habits around nutrition, movement, sleep and stress
  • Improve consistency when motivation fluctuates
  • Identify challenges that may be preventing progress
  • Break larger goals into manageable steps
  • Remain accountable without judgement or pressure
  • Build confidence in your ability to care for your health
  • Navigate a health-related transition or new diagnosis
  • Create changes that are practical and sustainable

Who may benefit from health coaching?

Health coaching may be helpful if you:

  • Want to live more healthily but feel unsure where to start
  • Feel overwhelmed by conflicting health information
  • Understand what you should do but struggle to put it into practice
  • Want support with healthy weight management or metabolic health
  • Are working to improve your nutrition, physical activity, sleep or stress management
  • Have risk factors such as raised blood pressure, cholesterol or blood glucose
  • Are living with a chronic health condition and want to participate more actively in your care
  • Have tried to make lifestyle changes before but find it difficult to maintain them
  • Are moving through menopause or another significant life transition
  • Want a personalised plan rather than a one-size-fits-all approach
  • Would value regular encouragement, structure and accountability

Cancer coaching

Cancer can affect far more than physical health. It may influence how you eat, move, sleep, work, think, cope and relate to the people around you.

Cancer coaching provides personalised support for people who are newly diagnosed, receiving treatment, recovering from treatment or adjusting to life after cancer. Sessions may help you manage uncertainty, prepare for appointments, establish supportive lifestyle habits, rebuild confidence and physical wellbeing, and identify what you need during each stage of the journey.

Coaching is also available to partners, family members and caregivers who may be carrying uncertainty, practical responsibilities and emotional strain of their own.

What you can expect

Your coaching journey begins with understanding your needs, priorities and current circumstances. Together, we agree on a meaningful focus, set realistic goals and develop a practical plan that can be adjusted as your needs change.

“You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. You only need a willingness to take the next step.”
