What is telemedicine?

A real medical consultation, delivered via secure video call. Regulated by the HPCSA under Booklet 10, the same clinical standards as an in-person consultation. Dr Maretha can consult with patients anywhere in South Africa.

What you need

  • • A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
  • • A stable internet connection
  • • A quiet, private space for your consultation

The process

  1. Submit a consultation request via the booking link
  2. Bookem confirms your appointment and prompts you to add it to your calendar
  3. Join the video call at your scheduled time via the secure Bookem link
  4. After the consultation, Dr Maretha sends a summary, action plan, and any necessary referrals or prescriptions

Prefer to see Dr Maretha in person? Consultations are also available at Caledon Corner, 60 Caledon Street, Somerset West.
